I'm Tyler Hinthorne. I specialize in 3D character and creature design. I currently Live in Alberta, Canada, and am experienced in transition of characters from high-poly to low-poly for seamless integration into games. Also, I am experienced in mission design and game design using Unreal Engine 4 and 5. I have also created a special limited edition figure serving as a bonus reward for a successful IndieGoGo campaign.
In my previous role, I led a small team, dedicated to crafting mission and level designs for an Indie MMORPG. I was a line of communication between the owner of the company and my team, and ensuring the contest created stayed in the vision for the game. My tasks included team coordination, the creation of assets everything from meshes to textures and effects, blueprints and some network replication. I also have experience with migration and conversion of store assets, and following and creating documentation and task lists.
Within my portfolio, you'll find my work is mainly stylized creatures and characters. My biggest passion is the realm of creature and animal modeling. I love games that use many diverse and imaginative creature designs. I have experience using many programs ranging from ZBrush and Maya to Substance Painter, 3D Coat, and more. Aiding others in their creative journey is a source of personal fulfillment, and I strive to continue to improve and push myself when I can!
